Filthy Dukes arise from their own particular scene in the depths of London with their debut album Nonsense In The Dark.
Personally, I have never been much of a fan of Pete Doherty. From his drug fuelled violent antics that bleed all over NME’s front page and the gossip columns of tabloid newspapers to the way he is generally treated as a God amongst men on the indie rock scene.
General consensus is that classic rock is dead; a product of the 60’s and 70’s that died off as the 90’s bred indie giants stormed the rock scene, quelling its fire and passion, giving it a more bouncy, fun, albeit commercial edge.
