Fancy some EXTRA cash?

Fed up of being skint? Want to inject some glamour into your student life? Bananafish management, a Liverpool based casting agency, want you on their books.

Bananafish Management supply actors, extras, models and children to TV, Theatre & Film Production Companies as well as supplying a wide variety of acts for different events. “We’ve got acts from TV extras, models and actors to dancers and stilt walkers on our books!” says Joanna Jones, Managing director and the brains behind the firm.

“It’s a perfect way for students to earn some extra cash” Joanna continues. “Being a TV extra can even earn you up to £130 a day!” The work is casual and is fitted around your timetable. Particularly for first years, you may feel like you’ve got a lot of spare time on your hands at university, so why not spend the day on a TV set, and then get to watch yourself on television?

It’s also a myth that you need to be a model in the making to be an extra. “We’re looking for anyone” says Joanna. “The more the merrier!” So whatever your size, shape or hair colour, there’s bound to be work out there for you. If you are interested in becoming a TV extra, or have a special talent you think you could showcase, contact Joanna at Bananafish management at info@bananafish.com, and who knows where you’ll end up on your next day off!
