Important - The University May Owe You Money

The University of Liverpool has recently notified its students that they may be entitled to backdated bursary payments, from the 2007-2008 academic session. This applies to students who began their studies in September 2006 or later.

The bursary is means tested and awards are made to those students whose household income is £38,330 or less. The amount awarded is dependant on how close the household income is to this upper threshold.

If you believe that you should have been awarded a bursary in the previous academic session, you and/or your parents/partner need to contact the Student Loans Company. You will be required to consent to them sharing details of your household income with the university, whereby a bursary entitlement assessment will be carried out.

Access to the 2007-08 bursary will close on Friday 16th January 2009, so requests need to be made as soon as possible. Queries can be directed to feesenq@liv.ac.uk.
