Russell Howard: Dingledodies

Having been introduced to Howard’s comedy around 2 years ago on BBC’s “Mock the Week,” Russell Howard has never failed to disappoint, this DVD being no exception.
Filmed at the Brighton Dome in front of over 125,000 people in late 2008, if you’re anything like me you’ll literally laugh so hard you’ll fall of your chair. Roughly an hour and a half long, this show will offer almost non-stop laughs leaving you out of breath on multiple occasions. Just as long as your funny bone is rightly tuned.

Take note however if you find yourself easily offended I would advice caution Howard does use potentially offensive language from time to time, however if you’ve managed to watch his series “Russell Howard’s Good News” without problems you’ll be absolutely fine. Some material has been repeated from previous work however there are plenty of new jokes to go around.

Extras are relatively small, but as the DVD is mainly focusing on the main show this is understandable. They include an alternate (and slightly less funny ending). A montage of fans Q&A sessions with Russell at various gigs and both his appearances on “Live at the Apollo”

All in all Dingledodies was an excellent purchase, despite the fact I could’ve found in cheaper places than Tesco. £14 well spent

I saw him live in Liverpool and he played to the crowd so well. They were basically giving him material every time they shouted out (the "scotch egg" woman was brilliant!!)

do you remember the guy who shouted 'shit'? then he went into a thing about russian man who cock slaps beers?

that was me =D

(just for the record I don't sexually abuse animals)

Holy crap, that was you? I was on the to teir and couldn't see most of the people who were shouting things out. I have the DVD, but he doesn't do the Old Woman in Norwich skit. That is frickin' funny!
